Others have liked this, but maybe I was a little heavy handed with the vanilla. A poor second to the honey blackberry mint mocktail. This recipe was based on https://www.lafujimama.com/blackberry-vanilla-mocktail/, with its beautiful imagery.
Ingredients
Scale
1/3 cup fresh blackberries
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon honey
Soda water
Instructions
Muddle the blackberries, lemon juice, vanilla and honey, in the bottom of a glass
Pour mixture through a fine mesh strainer, and again through a coffee filter until clear
Pour over ice, and fill glass with soda water
Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves

It really depends on the ingredients. I think this vanilla extract was quite strong, compared to the standard vanilla essence, and I put a bit too much in, overpowering everything else.
Persevered and made it, but somehow it wasn’t quite there. Check out the honey blackberry mint mocktail instead.
Omg. This packs a punch. V Energy drink + lemon juice + lime juice. Kapow!
Ingredients
Scale
30 ml V (Guarana energy drink)
15ml lemon juice
15ml lime juice
Instructions
Measure 30ml of V into a shot glass
Squeeze a half lime and add 15ml to glass
Squeeze a half lemon and add 15ml to glass
Brace yourself, and drink
Keywords: kamikaze musk shot
This is not a relaxing drink. It’s a wake-me-up and fight-or-flight kind of drink. It redefines tart.
I tried different combinations of this, doubling the V to 60ml, leaving the lemon and lime the same. It’s less in-your-face, and probably the way to go, but is a little let down once you’ve tried the initial combination.
This would be “interesting” as the first lets-get-the-party-going drink on taco night, but you’d want to limit yourself to just one…
