Love is where everything should start.
This is the non-alcoholic version of a frozen strawberry margarita.

I was a master of the margarita – we had  a fantastic going-away party in Tokyo several years ago, with jugs and jugs of it. Costco sold frozen strawberries cheaply, and the blender worked overtime. This version is pure pleasure, and innocent too 🙂

Ingredients

  • 4 medium fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 90 ml cranberry juice
  • 10 ml agave syrup
  • 10 ml fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together in blender until smooth.
  • Pour into glass and decorate.

The original version of this recipe called for sugar syrup, which is one of those things you have to have ready in advance. I didn’t, and used agave syrup instead.
This means that with a little luck, the ingredients are always hanging around at home.

This is truly a great mocktail. It’s easy to just keep making more and more batches. And the cranberry juice helps it go even further.

Definitely one to make again and again. Four star.
